These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, deliveries, and other services provided by Ethical Elephant oHG and its affiliated entities, including Ethical Elephant EMEA S.A.L, to consumers and businesses worldwide. They govern both domestic and international transactions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The contract is concluded by the acceptance of the customer’s order. The presentation of products on our website or in our catalog does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
By placing an order, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is concluded upon our written confirmation (e.g., via email) or upon dispatch of the goods.

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or another agreed currency and are exclusive of applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Customers outside the European Union may be subject to additional charges such as customs duties, import taxes, or bank fees.
Payment is typically made via bank transfer, credit card, Wish Transfer, or other methods agreed upon during the ordering process. Unless otherwise specified, payment is due immediately upon confirmation of the order.
Ethical Elephant operates a dedicated logistics network that connects our central organisation in Berlin with a distribution network across the Middle East, routed through our facility in Beirut. This network is supported by Ethical Elephant EMEA S.A.L, which manages local operations, customer support, warehousing and last-mile delivery throughout the region. This infrastructure enables us to offer reliable, regionally optimized delivery services across Europe and the MENA region.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, weight, and delivery method, and are communicated clearly before order confirmation. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address is accurate and accessible.
In certain cases, Ethical Elephant offers free shipping. This applies to orders that exceed a specified minimum purchase amount, which may vary depending on the destination country and current promotional terms. Eligibility for free shipping will be clearly indicated during the checkout process or communicated in advance through our sales channels.
We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our logistics operations. Our regional distribution model—leveraging local warehousing in Beirut—minimizes long-haul transport and supports more efficient, lower-emission last-mile delivery. We prioritize consolidated shipments, use recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials, and collaborate with logistics partners that offer carbon-neutral or low-emission transport options. Ethical Elephant continuously evaluates its supply chain to align with sustainability goals and reduce its carbon footprint across all markets we serve.
Ethical Elephant complies with statutory warranty obligations under German and Lebanese consumer protection laws. Customers are entitled to receive goods that are free from defects and conform to the agreed specifications. If a product is defective, the customer may request a repair, replacement, or refund within the legally defined warranty period.
We are liable for damages only in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded, except where required by law—particularly in cases involving personal injury or product safety.
Ethical Elephant processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details regarding data collection, processing, and protection are available in our Privacy Policy.
Ethical Elephant is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or government actions. In such cases, delivery timelines may be extended accordingly.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Amendments or additions to these terms must be made in writing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Berlin, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
